This album is about the litany of musicians outed as rapists and abusers this year, both internationally and most notably in Glasgow and, despite the sanctimonious and performative online moralising, the community's ugly aversion to facing its failings.
As a victim of childhood sexual abuse myself, seeing this reaction has truly shocked me, victims are reliving their trauma by speaking out, being scrutinised and judged by people with their own venal agendas and reasons for keeping them muzzled.
This album is about these abusers, their enablers and my anger towards them.
